If the recent Spring New York Bridal Fashion Week is any indicator, it is that bridal wear is back and more extravagant than it ever was.
For the past 2 years, bridal wear was toned down to fit with the smaller and more scaled-back wedding celebration. We saw a lot of little white dresses and simple silk or lace silhouettes that were perfect for a minimony or city hall elopements.
This year with weddings happening again (predicted to be the biggest ever), designers decided to go all out with bridal wear. While little white dresses are still the rage, designers designed mini dresses that are full of elaborate details (think fringes, tulle, sequins and bows). Brides who want to take center stage have bridal dress options from sexy cut-outs and asymmetrical necklines to a dramatic cape and 3D flower embellishments on their Spring wedding dresses 2023.
One thing’s for sure? Bridal fashion is back and we’re all for it.

Asymmetrical Necklines
Last year, it was all about square necklines – no doubt heavily influenced by pop culture’s obsession with Bridgerton. This season, we’re seeing a lot of asymmetrical necklines from designers. It is a fresh take from the usual square, halter and heart shaped necklines that we are used to seeing every season. Designers like Elie Saab used the asymmetrical trend to bring texture and drama to their Spring wedding dress 2023 designs.
If you’re on board the train to this Spring 2023 wedding dress trend, then you’ll love the Zoey wedding heel. The silk bow at the front is constructed asymmetrically into a bow. Perfect for brides who want to make an elegant statement.
Mock Necklines
Another Spring neckline bridal trends 2023 that we are seeing on the runway are mock necks. No doubt this trend is heavily inspired by celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Lady Kitty Spencer that donned this royal look for their weddings. Designers such as Anne Barge designed their own versions of mock-necks that are graceful and oh-so-timeless.
For your wedding shoes, you want something that is refined and classic to complement the mock neckline look. Sophia is a classic lace pump that is elevated with elegant lacework. The end result? Refined and elegant wedding heels that are fit for a sophisticated bride.
Oversized Flowers Embellishments
Nothing says Spring more than floral designs. While it is nothing new or groundbreaking, Spring bridal fashion week 2023 dresses are all about oversized floral appliques. These designs add a romantic touch to any Spring wedding dress 2023. Mira Zwillinger is just one of many bridal designers that worked this romantic aesthetic and trend into their Spring floral wedding dresses 2023 designs.
Similarly, floral designs on wedding shoes aren’t new. But if you’re looking for something exciting and different, you’ll love Libby ivory heel. Inspired by the Lily of the Valley flower buds, the flowers move with every step that you take. This flower signifies a return to happiness which brings abundant blessings for your wedding day.
Mini Dresses
With wedding celebrations coming back in full swing, so do mini dresses that are dance-all-night-worthy. These mini dresses are made for brides who want a second dress to dance in for the reception. Pictured above is Rami Al Ali’s mini dress that has two elements that we are obsessed with: tulle skirt and bow sleeves. Why choose one when you can have both!
For dancing all-night in your Spring mini wedding gowns 2023, you’ll love the Harmoni low heel bridal shoe that comes in a low 2 inch heel height. Made for a romantic bride, soft tulle is pleated with rows of organza flowers and crystals. Best part? Harmoni has our signature 12-hour comfort padding that will keep you pain-free for dancing on the dance floor.
Something Blue
Blue is in! For years, we saw various shades of color for bridal wear, from blush pink to bold black. This season, the color blue takes center stage. If you’re looking to add some color to wedding day attire, consider this Ines di Santo blue ball gown bridal dress that will easily crown you as the best dressed amongst 2023 brides in Spring.
The perfect ‘something blue’ shoe to go with your blue bridal gown is Viola. Baby blue flowers that are constructed by hand-sewn beads and pearls make this blue heel the most romantic and elegant way to add a soft pop of color to your wedding ensemble.
Sexy Cut-Outs
Following the steps of the recent Fashion Week and fashion icons such as Zendaya and Kendall Jenner, bridal wear this season is redefining how to show skin with perfectly placed cut-outs. Traditionally, bridal designers designed wedding gowns with high slits or low necklines for that added sex appeal. We love cut-outs, as seen on Berta bridal dresses. This new Spring 2023 wedding dresses trends is another way for brides to show off their curves and personality.
Bridal shoes are also incorporating cut-outs in their designs. Meet Lilian ivory wedding pump that has sexy cut-outs at the side of a classic D’Orsay silhouette. You’ll love the row of pearls and crystals at the front that are hand-sewn by our team of expert artisans.
Visible Corsets
If cut-outs aren’t your thing, then consider corsets. There’s nothing more sexy than visible corsets that have exposed boning or molded cups. Plus, the corset can act like a shape wear so that you feel supported and held in place all-night long. Pictured above is a sexy corset Spring 2023 wedding gowns that bring the sex appeal.
Love the corset trend? Bella Belle Juliet slingback wedding shoe features a corset-like design at the front with a petite bow at the top. Don’t be fooled by the corset design as it is made with mesh which provides a lot of comfort and breathability for your wedding day.
Removable Capes
We love a detachable and custom choice for brides. This Spring 2023 bridal gowns season, we saw designers adding removable capes to the many current removable options (such as removable skirts, bows and sleeves). Capes not only elevate a bridal look, they really add so much drama. We love Monique Lhuillier’s take of this trend with a tulle cape that adds drama in a very romantic and soft way.

Your bridal shoes can also have removable options so that you can customize your look. Meet the Matilda bridal heel that has a removable tulle bow, so you can wear it with the oversized bow or without.
